Introduction

Sir Syed College of Education & Professional Training  Campus-X is a unique English Medium College of Education in Wah Cantt, offering quality education for pre-service and in-service teachers since there was no such institute for B.Ed Degree Programme exclusively for girls. Alhamdulilah! This College  is now affiliated with Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. We continue to emphasize our core principles which are imaginative teaching, experiential & reflective learning and cultural enrichment. Sir Syed College of Education & Professional Training  Campus-X has extremely talented, cultivated & highly qualified faculty members. Our tutors are devoted and committed to impart highest standards of education by using modern teaching paradigms, modern techniques and pedagogy at par with student’s mental level.

This B.Ed(Hons Elementary) course aims to further develop awareness in the use of conventions of academic English in students. More specifically, the course will develop the reading and writing ability in a variety of academic registers as well as developing listening and speaking skills.

History

Begum Lt. General Omar Mehmood Hayat, wife of the former chairman POF inaugurated Sir Syed College of Education & Professional Training Campus-X on 27 January, 2017 in the city of Wah Cantt, a most literate area of Punjab, with an aim to provide training & skills to the teachers of the Wah Cantt at par with the rest of the country with support of Sir Syed Education Society, Wah Cantt.

The college is at the initial stages of its academic journey, and has enough capacity of its students, faculty and staff. However, further expansion is planned which includes a purpose built campus up to M.S level of Education on specifically acquired land along with all the allied facilities required in any good college.

Affiliation

The college takes pride in being affiliated with Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWA), Rawalpindi, a prestigious degree awarding institution authorized by the Education Commission of Pakistan.

Language Skills
